Media EXP™ is a pre-integrated and pre-optimized multimedia software suite for next generation consumer electronics and mobile devices. The pre-packaged software framework reduces the development cost and complexity for vendors manufacturing a variety of consumer electronic devices such as mobile internet devices (MIDs), smartphones, digital photo frames, portable media players, netbooks and more.

Our multimedia software is available for most hardware platforms and supports leading operating systems such as Symbian, Android, Windows Mobile, Linux and Nucleus. The Media EXP™ framework has been used to develop applications for a broad range of mobile phone platforms e.g. S60, Microsoft Mobile and Linux.

      • Aricent IMS Client is a platform for creating new IMS services. The framework facilitates rapid creation of new IMS applications by combining existing IMS and application blocks.
      • Aricent iADE is an innovative, graphical development environment that uses automatic code generation and key functional building blocks (e.g. presence, voice, messaging, Push-to-talk over Cellular, group/list management and video) to rapidly build compelling new applications.
  • Device Middleware
    • Aricent offers prepackaged software and frameworks that accelerate the development of new communication applications. These products are offered to third parties, such as mobile chipset manufacturers or systems integrators.
    • The frameworks abstract the underlying operating system and hardware details, speeding the development of mobile applications. Examples of Aricent Multimedia framework interfaces that are supported include RTP/RTSP, Video Telephony - 324M, DVB-H.
