Service Continuity Server (SCS 2100L)

The Aricent Service Continuity Server (SCS 2100L) is a complete software solution that facilitates fixed-mobile convergence (FMC). Aricent SCS 2100L has been designed to speed deployment of FMC solutions in numerous market segments, including fixed operators, mobile operators, enterprise operators and even virtual mobile operators. It can also be used by system integrators selling FMC solutions to network operators, and by service providers that have or are planning to have SIP/IMS deployments on the fixed network side, or are planning to have an enterprise network providing mobility to users.

The Aricent SCS 2100L solution is based on Voice Call Continuity (VCC) technology. It is fully 3GPP compliant to VCC specifications when integrated in the IMS mode. Additionally, it can support SIP networks that are not yet IMS compatible while following identical 3GPP procedures for call continuity.

For enterprise users, the SCS 2100L solution has evolved from 3GPP VCC specifications to provide seamless mobility. It is ideal for enterprise deployments where subscribers receive a single identity and a single device to handle enterprise and macro network calls, and it also enables seamless mobility of normal calls as well as calls involving supplementary services.
