Service Provisioning Platform (SPP)

The Aricent SPP automates provisioning and activation of services in the network, eliminating the need for manual intervention after the Order Management System has recorded a service order. Through its online provisioning system, SPP improves service agility and time to revenue by ensuring that the customer’s services are activated immediately. SPP provides unlimited scope for managing the complex service provisioning rules that are needed by communications service providers with multiple, distributed service delivery network components.

SPP functions as a gateway for convergent provisioning needs, supporting voice, messaging and content services. SPP resolves technical incompatibility issues by creating a standard service provisioning and service management interface between the OSS and network elements in a multi-vendor network. It also provides an interface for managing provisioned services by capturing all notifications and reporting all alarm conditions and disruptions as and when they occur in the system.
