•  Aricent implemented Link Failure Detection (LFD) module to find an approach for faster detection of Backhaul Radio Module (BRM) link failure, along with Radius Accounting Support for Access Radio Module (ARM) clients.
• Aricent was involved in the sustenance of the modules such as 802.1Q VLAN, RSTP, OSPF, and DHCP and OAM components such as Telnet/SSH, CLI and SNMP for a leading North-American WLAN switching vendor. Aricent also provided problem analysis report and solution for the field issues.

Aricent provides ready-to-implement software solutions for 802.11 access points that accelerate development and reduce risks for OEMs. The solutions are:

• Aricent-RSNA: 802.11i implementation – This is a portable implementation of the 802.11i specification for Robust Security Network Association (RSNA) in WLANs.

• Aricent-IAPP: 802.11F implementation – This is a portable implementation of the 802.11F specification for Inter Access Point Protocol (IAPP) to enable end-station mobility across access points, in WLANs.

• With their well-defined external interfaces, Aricent-RSNA and Aricent-IAPP can easily be ported to many different operating systems and wireless chipsets.
