Financial Services

Financial services providers are looking to new technologies to find innovative ways to engage with customers and help them manage their financial destinies.

Connected Consumer Banking

Developing next-generation transaction experiences and banking relationships is a key imperative for financial service providers. Our work spans the web, mobile apps, wealth management services, and ATMs. Our aim is to help connect all these elements together so that they provide maximum value for companies and customers alike.

Corporate Online Banking

Financial services providers must also address the changing expectations and needs of corporate customers. They want to achieve the same benefits from more integrated systems, more effecient transactions and user experiences, and expanded services.

Implementing a modern corporate online banking solution

The Aricent Group worked with a major bank to launch its first web-based banking solution for corporate clients. Their existing solution was a thick-client implementation using technologies that were over six years old. The new application enables the customer to add functionality to its offering without changing the entire Internet banking software suite. We worked with the client from start to finish, including requirements definition, technology assessment, functional code development, stress and scalability testing, and final deployment.

Mobile Money

Given the widespread usage of mobile phones and rapid adoption of technologies like near-field communications (NFC), financial service providers have begun exploring how best to leverage Mobile Money strategies. This is particularly true in emerging markets, which are leapfrogging developed nations and their legacy infrastructures. Aricent Group has a detailed understanding of user needs as well as barriers to adoption. We also have expertise in integration with back-end systems, and developing secure and usable solutions for everything from smartphones to low-end handsets.

IT Systems

Integration and efficiency are the watchwords for CTOs and CIOs in the financial services industry today. In our work with companies such as Thomson Financial and Credit Suisse we have seen a growing emphasis on making financial software and services easier to use for professionals in investment and trading firms. This makes them more efficient and cost-effective, and helps support better decision-making. We have extensive experience developing enterprise applications and implementing the necessary back-end systems integration to make all the elements work smoothly and reliably.
