Aricent Active Mediation System is a proven next-generation convergent mediation solution that supports a carrier’s transition from a circuit-switched network to a packet-based network, while continuing to protect the billing system as networks move from the legacy per-call Call Detail Records (CDRs) to event-based IP Data Records (IPDRs).

Aricent AMS efficiently collects and aggregates call and event data from multiple network elements and distributes them to different systems, including billing, fraud management and business intelligence for increased revenue control.
