SIP Back-to-Back User Agent
Our SIP Back-to-Back User Agent (B2BUA) is an Open Services Access (OSA) compliant framework that enables equipment manufacturers to accelerate the development of a spectrum of components, including SIP based telephony, multimedia and value-added services (application servers), border-control elements, multi-protocol convergence gateways, SIP to IN gateways and any other network-edge, network-access or core-network application that requires SIP based session management and call-control.
In addition, the framework offers an intensive SIP session management platform that seamlessly combines call-control and call-processing capabilities, designed over a robust, high-performance SIP signaling infrastructure. Our SIP B2BUA provides a complete SIP “switching” infrastructure by handling SIP messaging, transactions and dialog management functions internally, with zero application intervention. Finally, it also provides core SIP session associated functionalities including management, security, media negotiation, routing, translation (NAT and NAPT), and control for ease of application development.
Key Features
Powerful SIP Session Management Capabilities
Complete B2BUA implementation includes SIP registrar functionality and dynamic and per-call toggling of B2BUA mode with Proxy and UAC/UAS modes, which allow for maximum flexibility and enable realization of all forms of SIP call-flows
Standards (OSA) Based Application Programming Interface
Comprehensive event-framework based interaction between the framework and applications which supports asynchronous and synchronous APIs
High-Value Framework
The framework includes built-in modules like Timer Manager, Network Manager and Configuration/Management modules. Extensive “default processing” for call control and call processing helps reduce application code development. It also supports an event-notification based API for quick-and-easy application development. Additionally, the option of pre-integrating the B2BUA with Load-Balancer and High Availability platform is available.
Callbacks for Delivery of CDRs
Seamless notification mechanisms allow for flexible CDR generation.
Compliance to IETF, IMS, TISPAN Standards for SIP Based Call-Control and Session Management
IMS defined SIP registration, p-headers and authentication procedures are supported.
