Bangalore, November 20, 2015: SmartPlay- an Aricent company unites with Adarsh Charitable Trust in conducting its fifth annual fundraiser event, the SmartPlay APR Marathon. The walk will be lead by popular celebrity Sushruthi Krishna, Nutricharge Miss Active and FBB Femina Miss India 2015 top 21 finalists on November 22nd, 2015 at Adarsh Palm Retreat, Devarabisanahalli, Sarjapur – Marathahalli. The intent behind this event is to raise funds for social causes benefitting the underprivileged in and around APR and greater Bangalore.

This mega event is organized by seventy volunteers including ACT Trustees, and is funded by thirty one sponsors, including SmartPlay, Adarsh Developers and HCLT Foundation who have raised an amount of INR 30 lacs. This will be Bangalore’s largest marathon witnessing over two thousand people walking/ running within the Adarsh Palm Retreat premise for 21km, 10km, 5km, 2km. Additionally, this event is combined with fun elements like installation of stalls and bands, as a fun re-treat for participants and family.

Commenting on the occasion, Sanjay Palsamudram, COO of SmartPlay said, “Right from inception, giving back to the society has been at the core of SmartPlay’s DNA. The SmartPlay APR Marathon is one of Bangalore’s largest events, witnessing registration and contribution from across the city. This is a prestigious opportunity for us, and we are glad to make a difference in the lives of many underprivileged through this association.
