Augmented Reality Framework (ARF) enables clients to quickly deploy AR applications/solutions. Our solution takes advantage of technologies such as mobile devices, image training and detection algorithms to detect and augment objects with relevant content. Our solution can also be used to input multiple images of an object to create a 3D reconstructed image. Our clients can leverage this solution to provide enhanced user experience for their customers.The solution leverages and builds further on proven OpenCV algorithms for image training and detection.

Features

Template Based

The framework provides for definition of objects as templates which help detect objects that are similar to the defined template. The definition of objects is accomplished using a web application accessible across devices.

ImageTraining

The framework has a Training module that takes several images as input to generate vocabulary and classifiers for each type of object that is defined. These classifiers are used to detect the object.

Multiple Object Detection

Allows detecting multiple objects in a single camera frame and augmenting them. This is achieved without having to retrain the images of objects or further extending the framework.

Contextual Content Augmentation

Allows augmentation of objects based on the context of detection such as location, scenario, etc. The object template created as part of definition can be extended to add all relevant contextual data.

Text/OCR/QR based Detection

Detection of objects based on Text, OCR (Optical Character Recognition) code and Tag scanning (QR code, Bar code, MS Tag), etc.
