Carrier Optical Ethernet

Aricent’s ISS has all the components needed for carrier Ethernet bridging and switching.  All the features to realize MEF functionality – VLAN, VLAN stacking, bridging, LA, LOAM, SOAM (EFCM), G.8031 (ELPS), G.8032 (ERPS) and Ethernet Service Activation Test (SAT) are supported with the standardized MEF services

Optical Control Plane

Optical supervisory channel provides GMPLS access to this. Using GMPLS control plane enables intermediate nodes allocate labels/wavelengths and cross-connect to setup end-end wavelength path in a quicker/error free fashion.

Aricent has extensive experience in SONET/SDH, G.709 OTN basedPacket Optical Transport Platform software development (Provisioning, Fault Management (FM), Performance Management (PM), Protection and Restoration) and delivering complete POTS solutions.
