Service Activation and Provisioning on a Converged Network

SPP automates the provisioning and activation of services, eliminating the need for manual operations once the Service Management System records the service order. It also provides an interface for managing provisioned services by capturing notifications and reporting alarms/disruptions.

Active load-sharing capability that allows concurrent provisioning of multiple Home Location Register (HLR) and greater load handling with no impact to hardware performance.

Effective alarm management supports SNMP Trap, email and SMS notification, allowing users to view, filter, sort, acknowledge and clear alarms while action configuration on pre-defined events are supported.

Limits unexpected errors during service provisioning to reduce the time and effort required to reverse activation settings or suspend and reschedule failed operations, allowing users to blacklist subscribers and/or associated services.
